Itinerario
Day 1: Cusco and Sacred Valley Tour
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will assist you and provide you with some indications for your stay. We will begin our journey to the Sacred Valley enjoying beautiful Andean landscapes.
The route invites us to make a stop at the viewpoint of Taray to take the classic photo of the Sacred Valley and the archaeological site of Pisac. We will make a guided visit to the archaeological complex of Pisac.
After the visit to the complex we will arrive to the picturesque district of Pisac, where we will observe the traditional methods and ancestral techniques of its textile art, a beautiful place where the Inca and the colonial coexist perfectly and are part of the daily life of its inhabitants, famous for its craft fairs and where you can buy ceramic works, textile crafts and jewelry.
We will have lunch in a local tourist restaurant.
Day 2: Ollantaytambo – Chincheros – Maras Moras Salineras
After breakfast at the hotel we will board our tourist transportation to head to the Ollanta district to visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, one of the last living villages of the Inca culture, which was jealously guarded. Discover the great archaeological complex of what was an administrative, political and religious center (tambo or resting place for royal retinues traveling long distances). Its architectural remains still preserve walls and towers that were used to protect it from possible invasions.
At the end of the guided tour, we continue our journey to visit the district of Chincheros, a town famous for the extraordinary quality and beauty of its textiles and for its Sunday fair in which the native inhabitants, dressed in colorful costumes, come down from their communities to exchange their products. After a tour through its typical streets, we will visit the workshop of traditional weavers, who 28 years ago, came together to form an association of weavers with passion and interest to reconnect with this ancient art. This initiative became the Center of Traditional Textiles of Cusco, a solid organization aimed not only at preservation, but also at the commercialization of beautiful and high quality textiles.

After enjoying lunch, we will continue our tour passing through the District of Maras, famous for its colonial style main gates, where we will observe shields that represented the Spanish families, with its picturesque main square and its monuments that represent the Mareño inhabitant, continuing along the route we will arrive at the archaeological center of Moray. Named as an Experimental Center of agricultural products, where our ancestors made experiments of genetics and acclimatization of plants, thanks to this they came to domesticate and cultivate more than 3,000 varieties of potato, 50 varieties of corn, quinoa, etc. They used their wisdom of engineering, architecture, astronomy, to adapt to existing geological faults, its system of circular terraces allowed to have and to dominate the different microclimates and altitudes. They descend up to 150 m. deep which confirms the wisdom of the Incas to build masterpieces in harmony with nature.
We will return to the route and visit the salt mines of Maras (salt mines), exploited since pre-Inca times, Inca times until today, by the inhabitants of the community of Maras, there are currently more than 4,000 ponds, this salt mine contains minerals such as sodium, calcium, potassium, etc.. Day 3: Inca Trail Express to Machu Picchu
Transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo with the Guide, to board the train for 1:20 hrs. to KM104 (one day Inca Trail to Machupicchu), the beginning of the Inca Trail Express. Upon arrival we cross the suspension bridge to reach the control and then visit the archaeological complex of Chachabamba, then begins the ascent of 3.5 hours to the archaeological complex of Wiñaywayna, an important spiritual site. After the visit to Wiñayhuayna the Inca trail continues for approximately 1:30 hrs. more to finally arrive to Intipunku (the Sun Gate) from where you can see the spectacular panoramic view of the Historic Sanctuary of MACHUPICCHU.
The classic view from the Sun Gate to the citadel is a truly unique experience, an unforgettable way for your first view of this magical site. We walk for about 45 minutes more to reach the complex and take the classic photos of Machupicchu. Then take the bus to Aguas Calientes. Total trek approximately 6-7 hrs.

Day 4: Machu Picchu Full Day / Cusco
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we board the bus for our guided tour of Machu Picchu. The tour will take approximately three hours through the different sectors of the citadel, where you will enjoy amazing views and learn about Andean life, going back in time. After the tour you will take the bus again to return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then Cusco.

Day 5: H/D City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up for the guided tour. Places to visit on our tour. The lavish Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of Santo Domingo. The impressive terraces and temples of the great ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuaman. The enigmatic rocky promontories and labyrinthine paths of the amphitheater of Qenqo.
Begin your adventure in Cusco’s majestic Plaza de Armas, where the millenary history of the great Andean culture still survives. And after having delighted your senses with the most impressive and extraordinary samples of the high Inca architecture.
