Day 1:  Witches market – Ventarrón – Sican Museum

Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel, on the way our staff will give you an introduction of the benefits of the city and the services that will be provided.

Witches Market

Visit to the Witches market where we can find different objects, plants and ornaments used in rituals by shamans or healers.

Then we go to the pre-ceramic archaeological site of Ventarron, where the oldest mural paintings in America have been discovered (2 500 – 1600 BC), this site began to be excavated in 2007 under the direction of Nacho Alva, son of the discoverer of Sipan, Dr. Walter Alva.

Departure to Ferreñafe, to visit the National Museum of Sican where the gold objects found in Batan Grande, ancient capital of the Lambayeque culture, are exhibited.

Day 2: Tucume – Royal Tombs Museum – Sipan

Breakfast at the hotel, we board the bus for the guided tour to the Pyramids of Tucume, site museum and then we will visit the Ceremonial Center of Tucume, archaeological complex of 26 pyramids that was the second capital of the Lambayeque or Sican culture. We start the visit touring the new Museum of Tucume which consists of three rooms where objects that describe the history of the Lambayeque culture and the process of growth of Tucume are exhibited.

Visit to the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, the most modern museum in Peru. The tour allows to know all the objects found in 1987 in the site of Huaca Rajada known as Sipan. Inside the three levels of the museum we will discover the history of the Lord of Sipan, the Priest and the Old Lord of Sipan.

Lunch en route.

After lunch in the afternoon we will visit Sipan or Huaca Rajada, where the most important archaeological discovery of Peru took place. In the Site Museum we will be able to find objects from the last excavated tombs.

Day 3: Chiclayo/Airport

Breakfast at the hotel, free morning after that we will transfer to the airport or bus station.
