Itinerario
Day 1: City Tour – Cusco
A.M. Arrival to the city of Cusco. The representative of the Company will contact you at the airport to make the transfer to the chosen one, on the way you will be given a brief introduction about the city and the itinerary of our services. Arriving at the hotel (Cusco), you will be served an aromatic coca tea or muña important for acclimatization at altitude. Free morning to acclimatize.
P.M. Pick up from hotel for the City Tour excursion, which includes a visit to the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and other places of major importance near the city of Cusco.
Day 2: Sacred Valley (Qochawasi Sanctuary, Pisac Market, Archaeological Site)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our trip in our private tourist transport to the Sacred Valley enjoying the best panoramic view of the city of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Natural viewpoints.
The route invites us to make a stop at the Sanctuary of Ccochahuasi to observe the different animals rescued from the black market such as (condors, pumas, llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, foxes, monkeys, etc.), after the visit we continue to the viewpoint of Taray to take the classic photo of the Sacred Valley and the archaeological site of Pisac. We will make the guided visit to the archaeological complex of Pisac.
After the visit to the complex we will arrive to the picturesque district of Pisac, where we will observe the traditional methods and ancestral techniques of its textile art, a beautiful place where the Inca and the colonial coexist perfectly and are part of the daily life of its inhabitants, famous for its craft fairs.
We will board our bus to continue our trip following the Vilcanota River, until we arrive to the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch in a selected tourist restaurant.

Day 3: Full Day: Maras Moray, Salineras, Chincheros.
After breakfast at the agreed time, we will start with the pick up from your hotel, between 08:00 to 08:30 hours, approximately, to go to the District of Chinchero where we will have the opportunity to observe the process of the textile of the place.
Chinchero is one of the few places where it seems that time does not pass, as the traditions and Inca culture still persists. The people who live there are of Inca blood and the predominant language is Quechua, although almost all the inhabitants of this area speak Spanish as a second language.
The Archaeological Park of Chinchero is one of the main attractions of the town. It is an important agricultural enclosure of up to 43 hectares elaborated during the Inca period and that was previously inhabited by the pre Inca Killke culture. It stands out for its stairs, Inca walls and beautiful terraces where camelids were grazed and the land was cultivated with various products. Ceramic pieces, bone remains and stone works were found there, which are currently exhibited in the site museum.
Then we visit Maras located in the province of Urubamba at 3300 m.a.s.l., from there we can appreciate the Vilcanota mountain range and the snow-capped peaks: “El Chikon” (5530 m.a.s.l.), “La Veronica” (5682 m.a.s.l.), Maras Moray.
About 7 km. southwest of Maras and 53 km. from Cusco is the MORAY archeological site at an altitude of 3,385 m.a.s.l., the only one of its kind in the Inca empire. It is about natural geological faults (3 holes) gigantic that were adapted and used by the Incas who built terraces or agricultural terraces with their respective irrigation channels, is therefore a prototype of greenhouse, experimental center, the biggest hole has a depth of 150 meters and average height of terraces is 1.80 meters, between each of them.
To finish our tour we will visit the salt mines or “MINAS DE SAL”, located northwest of the town of Maras are made up of more than 4000 small wells, which were already exploited since the Inca times as a means of economic exchange and is still being exploited by the locals.
They indicate that the mountain has in its interior salt mines, a spring of salt water that emanates from the mountain, serves during the dry season to fill the wells in the form of “irrigation” every 3 days with salt water for a month, so that it solidifies gradually, then you have the process for consumption in the region.
Day 4: Ollantaytambo – Pumamarca Archaeological Site
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up between 08:30 and 09:00 hours, approximately, to visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. The only living Inca city of Ollantaytambo, one of the last living towns of the Inca culture, which was jealously guarded by a colossal fortress. Discover the great archaeological complex of what was once a tambo or city of rest and lodging for royal retinues traveling long distances. Its architectural remains still preserve walls and towers that were used to protect it from possible invasions.
Then we head to the town of Pallata, to ascend to the archaeological site of Pumamarca. Gigantic agricultural terraces that were adapted and used by the Incas who built terraces or agricultural terraces with their respective irrigation channels,
You can take a walk following a real Inca trail to the town of Ollanta that lasts approximately 2 hours.
Day 5: Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu
We will pick you up from your hotel to go to the train station and return to Ollantaytambo and then board the van, which will take us directly to the city of Cusco.

Day 7: Vinicunca – 7 Colors Mountain (Rainbow)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. to begin our incredible full day adventure. We will travel about 2.30 hours in our private van through the South Valley until we reach the District of Cusipata, from where we will ascend by a carriageable trail for approximately one more hour to reach the control and place from where we will make our hike for approximately 1.5 hrs. and reach the top of the mountain of Vinicunca (5,080 meters above sea level), we will ascend approximately 600 meters from the beginning of our hike.
On the way we will observe a fertile valley used since the time of the Incas, impressive views of agricultural terraces, canyons and snow-capped mountains. At the starting point of the hike there is the option of renting emergency horses.
We will observe beautiful views of the Ausangate mountain range (6,372 m.a.s.l.), finally we will arrive to our destination, Vinicunca the Rainbow Mountain (5,080 m / 16,466 ft.); we will have enough time to enjoy, take pictures of the natural landscape. This day we will have the Box Lunch, we will enjoy it with the spectacular panoramic view of the Vilcanota chain. At the indicated time we will begin the return, the walk will take us about 1 hour to return to the starting point, where our private transportation will take us back to Cusipata village, and then we will return to Cusco city, where we will arrive in approximately 3.5 hours.
