    Itinerary

    Day 1: Puerto Maldonado / Monkey Island / canopy in the tres arboles/ Lodge

    Pick up from the airport and / or bus terminal and transfer to the office where you can leave some luggage that you will not take on the tour. Then transportation to the port (Puerto Capitanía), we will go 15 minutes by boat down the river Madre de Dios in a motorized boat that will take us to our lodge. There we will leave our luggage in our comfortable rooms. After, we will go for a walk through the trails around the lodge where our guide will explain the fauna and flora of this area. We will have lunch and afterwards travel in our boat for 20 minutes until we reach Monkey Island, a great opportunity to see 5 species of monkeys that inhabit this island.  After returning to the lodge at sunset, we will observe alligators. With the help of our flashlights, we can see the red eyes of the alligators and your guide will explain everything related to the alligators. Then we will return to the lodge and spend the night there.

    Day 2: Collpa de loros / Reserve Tambopata “Lago Sandoval” / Caimaneo

    Very early in the morning at 5:00 am we will visit the parrot clay lick (collpa la Cachuela). During this of approximately 50 minutes, it is possible to see a variety of species of parrots that gather on the wall of the Madre de Dios River to eat clay in a multicolored show of flights and screams, an experience you will never forget. Then we will return to the lodge for breakfast, and prepare for our visit to Lake Sandoval for the whole day. From our lodge we will travel 10 minutes by boat until we reach the shores of the port of Lake Sandoval, from where we will enter the Tambopata Reserve “Lake Sandoval” in a walk of approximately 1 hour. When we arrive at the lake, we will take a canoe to paddle to see this beautiful lake that shows a great variety of birds and animals. At noon we will have lunch in a restaurant on Lake Sandoval. Those who wish can swim in Lake Sandoval without any danger after lunch. Later we will return to our lodge, have dinner and then take a night walk to see some animals and / or insects that come out at night . We will return to our lodge after where we will spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

    Day 3: Canopy, Kayak / Fishing / Lodge

    After breakfast, we will take our kayaks from our lodge along the Madre de Dios River and arrive at the center of adventure activities. We will walk for 5 minutes, and then ascend through a 20 meters high tower, from there passing the suspension bridges, In order to see the jungle from the top of the trees, as the animals see it. Then we will return to the lodge and have lunch. After a break we will prepare to go fishing on a half-hour hike until you reach a small river, where it is possible to fish piranhas and other Amazonian fish. We return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

    Day 4: Lodge / Puerto Maldonado

    After breakfast, around 8:30 am, we will transfer you in our motorized boat back to Puerto Maldonado, and from there to the airport and / or bus terminal.
