Reservation Policies

INTOUR PERU is considered a reliable and safe travel agency in Cusco, Peru. Therefore we present our reservation policy for you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest without any concerns.

Please read the following conditions carefully. By making a reservation with INTOUR PERU S.C.R.L.  you are accepting the terms and conditions of the company and guarantee your vacation.

From the moment your reservation has been confirmed, you may ask all questions related to your vacation.  INTOUR PERU will be delighted to answer all your questions to create a custom made package.

The packages do not include international flights. If you need any help arranging this, we will be glad to do so. Flights within Peru have to be paid immediately because of fair variation from one day to another.

Our prices do not include food not mentioned in the itineraries, personal expenses, personal insurance and transportation of luggage.

1. The deal and/or contract

The contract between INTOUR PERU and the client is a formality, backed up by our reservation policy that offers both parties security. By making a reservation by telephone, website, e-mail or fax, you are accepting all the terms and conditions mentioned.

The service will be provided after confirmation of the booking. These conditions ONLY apply to the services offered by INTOUR PERU. International and national flights are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective airlines.

2. Confirmed reservation

Our reservation department will answer your e-mails within 24 hours’ time and give you information on your reservation status and/or the elaboration of your itinerary.

INTOUR PERU, requires the reservation form to be completed for the corresponding quote (through the website or e-mail). After agreeing and developing your custom-made itinerary, you will be able to realize the respective payment. A prudent period of time to realize your reservation is 30 days before travelling to Peru. Depending on the places to be visited, we can help you make any necessary changes.  A reservation is accepted and definite from the date the first deposit is realized. From this moment there is a contract between the client and INTOUR PERU. The company reserves the right to refuse admission.

All prices are in U.S dollars and are subject to change without previous notice, until the payment has been realized and the availability has been confirmed.

Prices of the touristic packages are per person, including services, transfer, excursions mentioned, specialized guides and entrance tickets (according to chosen itinerary, unless different conditions are mentioned). Prices do not include extras, tips, airport taxes, flight tickets (unless mentioned), excess baggage weight or any other not specified in the program.

3. Personal information

To confirm and guarantee the services, INTOUR PERU needs clients to provide all personal information as full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, a copy of the passport page with  personal information, medical form (if applies), contact information in case of an emergency (name and telephone number), information of international and national flights.

4. Payment of reservations

The payment of confirmed groups:

For those services that need a deposit, like reservations for the Inca Trail, hotels and others, a 40% deposit is required after receiving confirmation of the reservation. The remaining 60% has to be deposited 30 days before the beginning of the service.

Groups that do not require a deposit, we require a 50% deposit of the total amount 30 days before the beginning of the service and the other 50% 15 days prior to beginning the service.

For the company to confirm and guarantee the organization of the trip, the client must realize the deposit of the final percentage.

Recharges: To avoid recharges during your vacation, make your reservations on time, do not change hotels last minute.

Important note:

Entree to the Inca Trail or others may vary depending on the Ministry of Culture and its regulations. In these cases we will inform you immediately to modify prices.

In case the personal information provided by the client changes, they will be subject to penalties or cancelation.

In case the passenger with a service to the Inca Trail renews his/her passport, he/she must bring a copy of the old passport and the original valid passport, to be able to enter to the Inca Trail.

On special holidays as Labor Day (May 1), Independence Day (July 28), Christmas (December 25) and New Year (January 1), an extra 50% will be charged per client to pay the staff on these special holidays.

5. Cancelation on behalf of the company.

INTOUR PERU reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to proceed. But it will not cancel a trip less than 30 days before beginning the service. Your trip will be guaranteed and your service personalized, unless the minimum number indicates the contrary or because of external factors. This applies to departures within the range of validity of the brochure.

Note: airlines could impose 100% of cancelation expenses. 

6. Complaints

If the client has any complaints about the services offered during the tour, this has to be mentioned to the local representative present at that time, to be able to solve the problem as soon as possible and avoid further problems.

7. Travel insurance, cancelation

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients that have reservations with us. In case of an emergency the client has to cover all personal expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evaluation expenses, cancelations, reduction etc.

8. Medical Form

All clients must send their Travel insurance 15 days prior to beginning the trip, signed by their personal physician o insurance company. For your safety and ours.

9. Financial Security

INTOUR PERU is a travel agency, authorized by and registered in the Ministry of Tourism in Peru. INTOUR PERU follows the current European norms in matters of protection of the clients’ money.

10. Responsibility

The client accepts the policies and conditions of the company INTOUR PERU.

Clients must have possession of their personal identification documents. They are responsible for having a valid passport, if needed with the required visas, and the vaccination certificates required for the trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the date of return.

11. Our responsibilities

Reservations are accepted based on the understanding of the possible risks related to adventure trips and that visits, excursions or expeditions, which are included in our programs, are made freely. It is also important to understand that unplanned emergencies can occur.

The company has to provide its services with the necessary diligence for the whole trip to go perfectly. We strive to serve you in the best possible way.

12. Flights / Delays

We cannot accept any responsibility for cancellations or delays on any of your flights. Whether this cancellation or delay is due to adverse weather conditions, the reprogramming of the airline, the airport of authority and / or the action of the air traffic controllers, mechanical failures or industrial action.

Our company will strive to solve your travel itinerary, and that any inconvenience is solved and nothing is affected by air delays.

The Client must understand and be flexible in cases of emergencies.

13. Children Policy

In all programs, unless otherwise indicated, the maximum age of a child is considered 11 years and 11 months. Over 12 years are considered as adults and will be subject to adult rates.

14. Last minute bookings

We accept last minute reservations depending on the places to visit, we will strive to exceed your expectations.

I hereby declare that I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions indicated above in addition to the conditions of sale as indicated by the company on the website / brochure or form provided and that I am fully aware that my signature confirms this statement.
